Testimonials

"Bobbit Worm is one of the few games companies for whom I will always, always sign up for their work. High emotion, high innovation and a huge attention to detail means that they always produce something really special. Upload was a recent highlight with personalised props and a clever use of the discord format to really push players and characters alike. 10/10 would cry again." - Peter Green

“Bobbit Worm have consistently impressed with innovations and experiments in online events, while still making space for familiar favourite themes: cosmic horror, radical queerness, existential dread, to name but a few... I am forever excited to see what they’ll come up with next!”

“I played The Nautical Trench, on the third run as a drone operator, which I played as an independent contractor-type. Even though I had no real stake in the story compared to the Navy and Corporate characters, the Refs were able to weave the story in such a way that my character was as invested as the others! This led to a pretty brilliant ending for my character, and an entertaining few minutes listening to the remaining players' final moments. I can highly recommend playing a discord game run by these people, its a really fun time!”

“The Nautical Trench was a really great introduction onto online LARPing for me. It used the various communication platforms well and was clearly well-thought through. The game runners were great at running with player ideas without letting go of their own central plans for the game."

"I want to say thank you for running T67-  Survival Night. I appreciate that a huge amount of effort, energy and organisation goes into something like this.

The set up of the main gameplay was quite frankly astonishing. I don’t know how you handled the logistics of it all so well.

You really are doing things other people aren’t and I’m  excited to see where you can take that in future.

I was happy with the simple mechanics for gameplay and the attention to conduct/ E&D policies.

I am glad I took part and I very much look forward to seeing Bobbit Worm’s future projects."
